今号は、ブラジル建築家のRuy Ohtake氏が駐日ブラジル大使館を建築設計して40周年であり、そのRuy氏を含め、ここ数年でレジェンドと呼ばれた建築家、アーティストの亡くなられる方が多く、その追悼という意味を込めて、過去のインタビューと作品を振り返り掲載している。過去20年間で紹介してきたブラジル・クリエイティヴに新しい建築、アーティストの取材を交えた号となっている。斬新さ、スケールの大きさ、独創性で人々を驚かせ続けているブラジル・クリエイティヴの魅力をお届けする。

This issue is the 40th anniversary of the Brazilian architect Ruy Ohtake’s design of the Embassy of Brazil in Japan, and many legendary architects and artists, including Mr. Ruy, have passed away in the past few years. In remembrance of them, we look back at interviews and works from the past. This issue includes interviews with new architects and artists in addition to the Brazilian creatives introduced over the past 20 years. Brazilians continue to surprise people with their innovation, scale, and originality. This is the appeal of Brazilian creativity, which has remained unchanged over the years.
