Vol.43 Typography issue

Vol.43 marks our second typography following up on our well-received Vol. 26. The issue features interviews with 16 designers exploring the importance and meaning of typography in design as well as its evolution and future possibilities.

The lead interviews present an international selection of typefaces that are rich with personality and created with unique concepts and methods along with typography seen in all sorts of media like print, the web, and interiors. This is followed by our special "Masters of Standard Typeface Styling" which as its title implies introduces 4 groups designers who continue to deftly use standard fonts like Helvetica and Avenir to put forth beautiful creations and allows readers to experience their rich aesthetic sense and the endless appeal of these fonts.

As if that were not enough we've made use of an expansive variety of fonts for this issue's editorial design. The cover art by Node was created based off of these sets of characters.
